Favorite Things
I like to think of myself as a free thinker. I enjoy all kinds of music, people, places, food, cultures, and I can be entertained by pretty much anything.
After saying that, I must acknowledge that I am a little biased. I prefer traditional and older things over focus group tested, generic, and new things. I like local favorites, heartfelt music and songs, dive restaurants and bars, cheap and very expensive things, and I’m a sucker for a brand name that I’m used to. I’m very loyal to things that I love and grew up with, but that feeling doesn’t keep me from trying new things all the time.
I’m always looking for a road that I haven’t traveled down, or a kind of food that I haven’t tried. That’s probably one of the main reasons that I have decided to try and spend my life making music, because a big part of that life is traveling to different parts of the world and experiencing other cultures and finding new “favorite things”.
So here is a page that I’m going to dedicate to posts about my favorite things and places on the planet. Hopefully you’ll find it interesting and might seek some of them out for your own personal enjoyment. (Note: I’m not paid to endorse any of these things… yet.
