Obviously I made it home from Illinois. Had a couple days off, and had a blast at Mashville with guests Steve Thomas and Scott Vestal.

Yesterday we flew up here to Hartford, CT to play at the Podunk Bluegrass Festival last night and today. There’s quite a lineup here including Del McCoury Band, Alison Brown Quartet, IIIrd Tyme Out, Dailey and Vincent, NewFound Road, and many others.  I’ve never been to this festival, and I’m glad to be here! There’s a great crowd, great hospitality, and great picking at this awesome hotel!

Gotta go play now! Tomorrow we’ll be flying back to Nashville then driving on to Illinois to pick up there. I’m gonna start packing for my first trip to Galax in years, so I’m getting excited!
