Sorry for the lack of postings!
I haven’t had internet for a few days, and I’ve been pretty lazy and sick with a cold.
Thanks to everyone who came to the Mashville Christmas Party! It was a lot of fun to see everybody. Special thanks to Gina for all the snacks and goodies. She’s the best friend a band could ever have!
Well, I’m back home in NC after another long drive home. I went to my buddies Gena and Tim’s house way down east on Saturday, and I’m back in Central NC until Christmas day.
Tonight some of my family and I went to Bermuda Run (right outside of Winston-Salem) and waited in line for two hours to see the lights they’ve put up in this huge park. haha. The lights were cool, and it was nice to be with the family. The weather has been so strange… 76 in Nashville when I left, and now it’s 18 here in NC tonight. Odd.
We stopped in at a great burger joint called Cook Out in Winston and I had a big cheeseburger and a Cheerwine float.
I can’t keep this up for much longer. I hear the gym calling my name.
Anyway, please remember there’s no Mashville tomorrow (Tuesday), but we’ll be back next week.
I hope everyone has a great Christmas break! Maybe I’ll write some more while I’m home.
Cya!

For everyone that can make it, remember that the Station Inn Christmas Party is tonight at 8! There’ll be some food and Mashville music! The party starts at 8 (a little bit earlier than we’re used to), so don’t be late!
Cya there!
It’s been a good, but long last few days.
I went home for Thanksgiving and had a great time with my family. My mom, and alot of my family for that matter, are great cooks. I’ve probably gained ten pounds over the last week… and enjoyed every minute of it.
The trips home and back weren’t all that fun, though.
I-40 presented many long delays both ways, contributing to the strange sleep patterns that seem to persist in my life.
It took forever to get back to Nashville on Sunday, and then Monday was a strange day of packing, paying bills and doing the normal “being at home” stuff.
Today I started at 4:45 getting ready and then driving to the airport with Justin for our 7 AM flight to Denver.
Once we landed we had 6 more hours of driving to go.
I slept a few of them away, then woke up to teach a workshop here in Thermopolis, Wyoming.
Thermopolis is famous for the hotsprings here, but they also have quite a Bluegrass Club and fan following.
The following show came and went, and I am pretty tired.
We have Wednesday off, then it’s Casper, Wyoming on Thursday and Billings, Montana on Friday.
Days like this make me wonder why we do this, but after all the picking is done, it’s just another week on the road with my buddies. Not so bad.
Anyway, I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving holiday. I know I did!
