I’ve been in Sorento, British Columbia, Canada all week at the BC Bluegrass Weekend/Camp. It’s been a good time, at a beautiful location on the lake. I’ve been cut off from the world as far as news and most internet which was nice for a while, but it’s nice to be in a real hotel now with TV and Wifi. I did get to write a new song this week between seminars and workshops, so that’s always a good thing!
Anyway, I’m playing at the Chiliwack Bluegrass Festival all this weekend, and then back home for some Mashin’ on Tuesday. I hope everyone has a good long weekend.

Howdy everybody.
Sorry for the lack of posts lately. I’ve been super busy and had very little net access.
Over the last 10 days I’ve ridden almost 90 hours on the road, and gone from Nashville, to Chicago, to North Dakota, then Wyoming, back to North Dakota, back to Illinois, on to Indiana, West Virginia, then back to Illinois and now finally I got back home at about 2:30 AM this morning.
Feels good to be home! I do thank Ms. Mary who always brings me some food when I’m in West Virginia or Eastern Kentucky… she brought me home just a little bit quicker than I had anticipated! hehe. So many nice folks out there! Now if I could just get somebody to mow my yard… hehe. Just kiddin’. I kinda enjoy that actually.
So I’m gonna try and rest and recover tonight. It’ll be nice to sleep while I’m not being hurled at 70 MPH down a bumpy strip of concrete in a big steel box. I’ve got a short recording session tomorrow, and I have to take my mandolin to the Doctor for some tuner work, then I’ll be at Mashville. Col. Josh Williams will be joining us regular guys, come and see us if you can!
Oh, and I have some pictures from the Ten Sleep Festival that we played last weekend in Wyoming, as well as the pictures from South Dakota that I forgot to put up before I went to Ireland. I will put them up this week!

It’s hot. I kinda like it when I’m home, but not when I have to play.
Sorry I’ve been a little lazy with the updates. I’ve been crazy busy.
I’ll be leaving for North Dakota and Wyoming this weekend, and then back to the Midwest for a week. I hope you enjoy the week wherever you are!
